I was responsible for the musical direction and creation of the opening show for the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final, collaborating with Team Recycled, Fifty Vinc, Erhan “Big Smoke” and the Flying Steps.
The core idea was to create a bold musical statement for Germany — a sonic signpost that represents the electronic-driven sound shaping the German scene today. The only creative brief I received from Vartan Bassil was simple and clear: “It has to hit hard.”
From there, I developed a hybrid sound concept that blends Trap, Drill and Jersey Club, combined with raw elements from the dance and battle culture. To elevate the impact, the sound was shaped together with Fifty Vinc, known for his powerful work in score and cinematic music, and Erhan “Big Smoke”, an OG deeply rooted in the culture.
The result was a high-energy, modern opening that connects club culture, battle energy and electronic intensity — designed to set the tone for the world final from the very first second.
